We are providing our services for dental specialists and maxillofacial diagnostic labs around the country. Reports are made by our well-trained and experienced team of maxillofacial radiologists in timely manner that are tailored to the specific needs of our referring dental practitioners and their patients. Radiologists are available to answer referring dentist’s queries and concerns regarding the case. Reports are delivered within 12-24 hours of case/study (DICOM or image) upload. Usual turnaround time for reports start from 5 hours and it can be customised according to the client requirements (if urgent).

FAQ's
CBCT or Cone Beam Computed Tomography is a form of 3 dimensional imaging designed especially for Dental and Maxillofacial Applications with low radiations. It is an advanced imaging technique that has improved the diagnostic & treatment aspects. It exposes the patient to considerably lesser radiation than CT (a basic 3D imaging technique). CBCT provides high quality imagines of the exposed area.
OPG or Orthopantomogram is a 2 dimensional imaging technique which gives you an x-ray of all the teeth and both jaws. It help us to diagnose the basic problems associated, like dental caries, periodontal disease, infections related to jaws. They also give us an idea of presence of any cysts or tumors related to teeth or jaws.
For an OPG, procedure takes around 10 minutes. The x-ray image or film is given immediately to the patient & referring dentist. X-ray report is mailed to the patient & referring dentist within 24 hours at no extra cost. For CBCT, procedure takes around 15-20 minutes. As the scanned to be processed & viewed, images & reports are mailed together to the patient & referring dentist with turnaround time of 24 hours. We provide you hardcopy of images and report along with a CD (DICOM format of patient’s CBCT scan). No extra cost is taken.
Scans for review can be shared with us by just uploading an image (.jpeg format) of your OPG on our portal or via email.
For CBCT, you will have to ask your imaging center for DICOM (*.dcm) files in a folder and then upload that on our portal.
You can also make a call and we will be happy to explain the easy procedure which will take just few minutes of yours. After your report has been reviewed by our experienced Radiologists, we will share the same on our portal for the download.
Yes, you can send the scans for review. Procedure would be same as explained in the previous question. You can also make a call at our centre for details.
Yes, absolutely we are open. You can contact us by calling in any of our centre for details. We will need the image of OPG (.jpeg file) and DICOM of CBCT (.dcm file) for reviewing the patient’s data.
Newer techniques at Dental Scan Centre use digital technology where we minimise the radiation dose by customising machine settings to your jaw size. Also we protect you with lead aprons before exposure.
There are no preparations required for OPG or CBCT as such. You will be asked to remove any jewellery or other metal accessories in the hair, neck region before the scan, as they interfere the radiation. If you are wearing any removable denture or prosthesis you should inform the technician prior to the exposure. You can make an appointment or walk-in in our centre with referring dentist’s prescription. Prescription of dentist provides the information he or she needs form a radiologist.
The technology of guided implant surgery enables patient to receive the true- restoratively driven implant treatment. Planning is done on dedicated software. Guide allows prosthetically-driven implant surgery which can be placed by dentist flaplessly (without giving an incision) or with flap.
Real Guide is a digital platform that provides precise implant planning, designing & production of user-friendly surgical guide. This guide helps a dentist with accurate & minimal invasive guided surgery for implant placement in an individual. This software helps in predicting the accurate position of implant.
